No happy, clappy stuff. The title is indeed what I do mean. The world is a generous place.
So much of the reality of our lives would suggest something opposite. Indeed much of my life, I believed the universe was set up to punish me for transgressions. This surely comes from the Christian upbringing to which I was exposed. The big Guy in the sky rewarded those he saw as being good while punishing those who are bad or naughty. Be really bad and he had Hell reserved for you.
I now know that we each construct our lives. Focus on what you want and the universe will deliver it. Now this could still be a Big Guy in the sky giving us what we ask for……… Who knows? What I do know is that what we ask for, is given. The sadness that is so commonly showing up is that so much of the modern life is filled with stress, negativity, violence and dissappointment. If we focus on these, then that’s what shows up.
So the message is that we must focus on what we want and eliminate ( as much as possible) those things we don’t want. Now here is a little/big understanding. FOCUS ONLY ON WHAT YOU WANT. That will eliminate the other. If I were to say, “Don’t focus on the pink elephant in the corner of the room”. What are you focussed on? Yes, the pink elephant. It is impossible to not focus on something. So therefore, focus only on what you want.
